About

PediaPUPS is the UW chapter of the Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group (PPAG) formed in Fall of 2015. Our mission is to develop rapport in the pediatric community in the Seattle area. Through our events, pharmacy students learn more about the pediatric patient population in various settings including awareness of different disease states, medical conditions, and socioeconomic backgrounds. PediaPUPS works to educate the children and caregivers about medication safety and germ prevention. Additionally, students have the opportunity to learn more about pediatric pharmacy through quarterly education seminars and the Pediatric Clinical Skills Competition. While COVID-19 will unfortunately affect many of our plans this year, we are working hard to plan around this and provide still educational events for our members and community.
