PediaPups members visited a 5th grade Girl Scout troop and went over scenarios that tested their medication safety skills and knowledge when it comes to babysitting younger kids. The girls are preparing to take their babysitting course, and this event focused on how the girls could facilitate any scenarios that might come up where they are asked to administer medications (even vitamins) to younger kids. The girls learned that it is important to discuss with the parents ahead of time specific directions in the event that the young child might need medication.
